CFDRC develops simulation technologies and provides integrative computational
tools for agent exposure and human health risk assessment including:
- Mixed-dimensional (fully 3D to 1D) agent transport in human airways
- Physiologically-based pharmacokinetic/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) models
for toxicity and bioavailability evaluation
We also offer advanced simulation tool for What-if evaluation
of neutralization strategies. Our technologies can be used for:
- Novel population and pathway formalisms to describe agent viability,
neutralizer potency and biochemical interactions
- Continuum formulation (turbulence modeling, moving boundary calculations,
etc.) for hydrodynamic modeling
