CFDRC has developed a porous-media flow analysis system for shell-and-tube heat exchangers based on its nuclear steam generator capability "ATHOS". The software is called HXFLOW, and can be used for generating internal flow condition estimates for subsequent life cycle or sludge deposition analysis. HXFLOW runs on Windows machines and consists of a GUI integrated with the flow solver and post-processor.
