Reliable modeling methods and simulation codes are the basis for the development of our future CAD tools for the emerging Nano-Molecular Electronic Devices. These include carbon nanotubes, nanowires, and molecular-electronics based sensors (chemical, biological, etc.). CFDRC offers expertise in development of high-quality and user-friendly Multi-Scale Modeling Tools for Nano-Molecular Electronic Devices, mostly based on nanotubes and nanowires, but generally applicable to any molecule-based nanoelectronic and bioelectronic devices.
The 3D numerical simulations can be used for deriving better compact/behavioral models for circuit or system-level analysis and design.
