RESEARCH SCIENTIST- Computational Medicine and Biology
Anatomy/Image-Based Grid Generation and Surgical Simulation
CFDRC is has established a Computational Medicine and Biology Div. with the focus on multiscale modeling of human body physiology, pathophysiology, injury and infection, drug delivery, and surgical and pharmacological treatment. Current R&D programs are related to drug delivery, injury biomechanics, vascular physiology, anatomy/medical image based models for bio-medical simulations, and military medicine.
Job Function: Development of medical image and anatomy based generation of geometry, morphology, mesh models for advanced computational medicine and biology and for virtual surgical simulations. Good background in computational geometry, computer graphics/visualization, and virtual reality simulation is desired.
Requirements: PhD in Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering solid background in mathematical modeling, creative thinking, communication and business development skills.
