SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Looking to hire Junior to Senior Software Engineers to design, develop and test advanced engineering software systems. CFD Research (CFDRC) is a small business within the Cummings Research Park that develops technical solutions involving simulation and innovation.

Job Functions:

  • C++ development in a windows environment using MFC, Java and Open GL
  • Support biomedical, industrial, military and aerospace engineering applications

Required Skills:

  • 2 years experience in C++, Open GL and Java
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows, familiarity with parallel programming (MPI)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with graphical interface development (GUI)
  • Problem solving skills and excellent customer service
  • Ability to acquire skills in conjunction with the rapid changes occurring in IT
  • Ability to work as a team

Required Education/Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science with 3 years experience, or
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science and 1 year experience, or
  • EE, ME, BioE or AE with a strong IT background will be accepted

Desired Experience:

  • Apache Web Server and Web Technology, 3D Computer Graphics
  • Open GL Programming, Biomedical Imaging, Image Processing
