Over the years, CFDRC has developed significant design expertise in many application areas. We assist our customers in concept evaluations, preliminary designs, detailed analysis and optimization studies, as well as certifications. In addition to using CFDRC for new designs, the CFDRC staff can also provide services for design modifications, performance analyses, and retrofit studies.

In addition to working with our customers, CFD Research Corporation (CFDRC) designs, fabricates, and tests devices for combustion, propulsion, and biomedical applications. Our staff has experience in design, modeling and testing of those and other systems. CFDRC has an experienced Computer Aided Design (CAD) staff with a variety of CAD modeling tools available to them. A unique aspect of the CFDRC designs is that they have been developed by using extensive CFD and multiphysics modeling. This leads to highly optimized designs, and few prototypes are necessary. For biomedical applications, we have experience and expertise in obtaining FDA approval for our designs and prototypes.
