CFDRC engineers have developed several novel devices for biomedical applications. Most of these devices have been developed by extensive use of CFD analysis, prototype testing, and field/system testing. Funding for this development has generally come through the SBIR program. CFDRC owns the intellectual property rights (IPR) of these devices (including a number of US patents), and grants exclusive and non-exclusive licenses and IP rights to interested parties.
