CFD-FASTRAN employs an automated chimera module for hole
cutting and communication of the solution data between separate multi-block
structured grid systems. The salient features of the module include:
- Designed for composition of separate multi-block grid systems
- Input is completely specified by the GUI and flow solver performs
hole cutting automatically
- Allows the number of buffer layers for determining hole size to be
chosen by the user
- Allows the number of fringe points for stencil coefficient calculations,
to be chosen by the user
- Accepts PEGASUS hole cutting data
The CFD-FASTRAN automated chimera module has been validated and used
for numerous applications..
