CFD-FASTRAN employs a flexible and easy-to-use
module for outputting, reduction and summary of force and moment data. The
salient features of the force and moment module include:
- Forces and moments are calculated separately for the full geometry
or subsets that are selected by the user
- Forces and moments may be calculated in the inertial, body-fixed or
user-specified axis systems
- Output may be dimensional or non-dimensional, based on data provided
by the user
The figure on the right shows a panel from the Graphic User Interface
(GUI). This and other similar panels are used to provide input to the
Forces & Moment module.
