CFD-FASTRAN employs a thrust and ignition module
for prescribing time dependent boundary condition for propulsion systems
such as rocket nozzles. The salient features of the Thrust & Ignition
module include:
- Time dependent boundary condition profiles for temperature, pressure
and velocities may be read from a user-provided file
- Automatic thrust calculation for application in force and moment,
and rigid body dynamics 6-DOF modules
- Multiple modules may be used simultaneously or sequentially
- Driven by the graphical user interface
