CFDRC engineers have developed several novel combustion devices for use
in airbreathing combustion systems. Most of these devices have been developed
by extensive use of CFD analysis, prototype testing, and field/system
testing. Funding for this development has generally come through the SBIR
program. CFDRC owns the intellectual property rights (IPR) of these devices
(including a number of US patents), and grants exclusive or non-exclusive
licenses or IP rights to interested parties. Some of the developed products
are listed below.
