CFDRC sponsors and helps build Habitat for Humanity house

CFD Research Corporation made a difference for one Huntsville family through sponsorship of a Habitat for Humanity house.  The four bedroom, two bath house was dedicated on June 24, 2017 and will become the residence for a family of five.  In addition to purchasing the land for the home, CFDRC contributed an additional $2500 for building materials and landscaping, bringing our total contribution to over $50,000.  Just as important, and more rewarding, CFDRC employees volunteered at the job site during three CFDRC-sponsored work days.  CFDRC employees gave their sweat-equity by working at the job site and providing lunch to their hungry colleagues when the work day was completed.  After organized work days, multiple employees and their families continued to volunteer their time in support of this effort.

Our commitment to our community is demonstrated in many ways – but few directly impact a local family as this one.  We are proud of our employee owners and look forward to continuing to find ways we can make a difference in our communities.
